The One Day WHO I AM Bible Intensive follows the eight steps of 2 PETER 1:3-10 to help us avoid being ineffective and unproductive in our relationship with God, ourselves, our neighbors, and the world. To do that, we must remove obstacles that block us from knowing our identity and purpose in Christ. To remove the obstacles, we must examine our story, where we may have gotten stuck, and return to the story God intended. In other words, we cannot know God’s calling until we know our story. Jesus knows why we run, hide, lie, rage, or cry. He is calling us to engage our stories so we can engage our world. God is the creator, the original gardener, artist, communicator, teacher, lawgiver, healer, counselor, and architect. He is the author of every kind of faithful work. This Weekend Intensive will give you the tools to follow the pathway to clarify your calling. This is not a lecture series but a series of activities to help you know your identity and purpose, which is embedded in your story. Together, we will discover the DNA of God’s kingdom and the profound meaning of the cross of Christ. This is the pathway to a deep and practical revelation of the love of God. The Intensiv will help you develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to actively engage the world to share your gospel story with your peers, the lost, people from other cultures, as well as neighbors.
